Beatriz Manetta, President and CEO of both Argent Associates, Inc and Asociar LLC, was named as one of the honorees for the 2015 DBJ Women in Business Award. She is one of 25 leaders who will be recognized at the special awards luncheon and trade show at the Irving Convention Center on August 25th.  The honorees will also be featured in a special publication in the August 28 issue of the Dallas Business Journal.

The Women in Business Awards program recognizes outstanding local North Texas women business leaders who not only are making a difference in their industries, but also in their communities.  This year’s judge’s panel was all previous winners of this award and business leaders themselves. There were more than 250 nominations before selecting this year’s class of 25.   The nominations showcase and represent the diversity in women’s roles and industries in DFW’s business scene.

“Congratulations to this year’s and previous honorees of elite women who make a difference.    As women who come from different walks of life and hold an array of roles across numerous industries, we have the ability to create global positive change,” stated Ms. Manetta.  “I am honored to be among these great women.  We need to continue to work together to help future women business leaders.  Our job is to create an environment where women can excel and ensure that women focus on STEM and technology.  We have a long way to go and this recognition enables me to know that the work I do with high school girls, college women and other entrepreneurs is not in vain.”
